Volunteers

We are always in need of volunteers. Jobs can range from guiding a visually impaired person, driving a minibus and mending our stock of equipment! Full training is given as required. Volunteers can come as often or as little as they wish. We guarantee that it is rewarding, exciting and fun!

DONATE

We have to raise over £60,000 every year to keep going. Any contributions are greatly appreciated. We have now become a registered charity, No. 1107331 , we will be able to claim Gift Aid from taxpayers at the rate of 28 pence in every pound!

Through the Give As You Earn scheme (GAYE), people are now able to donate to Open Country through the Self Assessment Tax Return. The scheme allows all or part of any rebate which is due to them to be given to Open Country or any other participating charity. Anonymous donations can also be made. For more details, please visit www.hmrc.gov.uk. Open Country's unique code is PAS54SG. Thank you.

GIFTS IN KIND

Our project is always in need of more tools, bicycles, (especially adapted ones), and office equipment. We will be delighted to accept any other outdoor equipment that you may have that is surplus to requirements!

If you can help with any of the above, please contact David Shaftoe or Sam Parkhouse at Open Country on 01423 507227 or by email at info@opencountry.org.uk
