Open Country invites you and your family carers to join us on one of our countryside outings between April and June.

 We were planning to head over to Farndale for the daffodils in April but alas, with the weather being so erratic, it seems that they will have gone over by then so we will have to save that trip for another year. Instead, we will try something else that we’ve not done before in heading to Fountains Abbey for an open air play.

 Places on our outings are limited so please call us to book and let us know numbers and whether you need assistance. If you book but are then unable to attend please let us know as soon as possible. Carers and their dependants are welcome to come together or independently. Transport remains completely FREE. We look forward to hearing from you,

Join us on a trip to the science adventure centre near Rotherham. Drive a digger, create a twister, unleash wildfire or make some waves – and that’s just on the drive down! Restaurant and café on site. Warm clothing recommended.

 Shakespeare in the Park

Come with us to Fountains Abbey for an open air performance of Shakespeare’s Merry Wives of Windsor. Bring a picnic and bottle of wine and enjoy this fantastic performance in equally fantastic surroundings.
